 Interview Questions:



1) Tell me about yourself?

I'm Chris Lee Meng Chiang, 28 years old this year. My email is chrischiang0214@gmail.com. I have been working at Ben Company for 7 years. I was a person who is very shy.  I did not dare to take the first step to take to people. But now I have confidence towards myself and company. Ya, I’m being forced to talk to people because my job is to talk to customers and solve problems in the company.

2) What are your responsibilities/functions as marketing exclusive?
Actually marketing exclusive is one part of my jobs in company.  Other than that, I also in charge things about public relations because my company doesn’t have public relations department.  I help company to find solutions to solve problem and answer customers’ calls. Maybe the customers call to my company, they have some problems about our company’s products, then I will find solutions to solve it.




3) Have you ever faced crisis/issue(s) along your employment here? If yes, could you please share your experience how you manage to solve the crisis/issue(s)?
Yes, I still remember it happened in last year Christmas, I wanted to take leaves on 26, 27 and 28 December, 3 days to go travel. At the same time my working partner wanted to take leaves on 26 and 27 December, 2 days to have a rest. So my boss said the company is not enough people, one of us can take leaves only. Then I think a way to solve the problem. It’s a win win solution. I told my working partner because I already booked the air tickets and I don’t want to let my family feel disappointed. So why not I take the 3 days lives and I will pay you that two days salary. At the end, he agreed. I lost some money but I had my travel. He lost 2 days rest but he got extra money.




4) What three positive values that can describe about you?

*Sober
I will listen what people say first instead of talk first. I will think before take action. If somebody offence me, I will not angry immediately. Instead of angry at him I will find a time face to face talk to him. I definitely wouldn’t talk about his bad behind him.
*Good attitude
I won’t take things for granted. Just like my colleague treats me a meal, I will thank him and I will find another time to tread him back.
*Honest
I don’t like people lie to me. That’s why I don’t like to lie to others as well. For me, I think the most important thing in relationship is trust. If a person cannot trust in you, your relationship with him will not close or even good.




5) How would you see yourself in the next 5 years?

I hope I can have my own company and I will be the boss. But it needs time to plan. Planning is very important to reach your goal or dream. Your planning might not work sometimes but at least you have the ideas how to build a company. I have confidence to do it because I planned it and I have 7 years experiences in doing this job.




6) Why do you want to choose this job?

As I said, I was a shy person but I know that in my life, I need to have breakthrough. This is one of the reasons. Not only that, this job can build the relationship between me and people. Besides, I can learn how to socialise with people and how to find solutions. Honestly, this company pays me with good salary, it can help me to solve the economy problem of the family. I’m not from a rich family.




7) How your company promotes the products?

My company will promote my product through apps for example, Wechat, Liine, Viber, Kakao, Whatsapp and so on. We won’t promote our products on television because it costs a lot of money. We don’t need to pay a single sen if we promote through apps. We will promote our new products and also the functions.




8) If your customer is very angry to call you and scold you about your company’s product is not good. What responds will you give?

First, I will apologize. This is a tactic of psychological. When you first say sorry, customer will feel like I’m wrong. Then his/ her‘s attitude will change to soft and better. After that I will see what things I can help.




9) Will this job shapes your character? If yes, then how?
Yes, definitely. It trains my patience.  The reason I say this it’s because different customer has different attitude. I have met some customers that are less patience. So I need to have more patience toward these customers.

Conclusion:

This company is a good company because it is not only focus on working all the time but it will provide trip for workers to build their relationship. 
The interviewer is a good example as a PR practitioner. He has positive thing and good attitudes. Besides that, the relationship between colleagues with him are very good, they are very close. They are not only partners or colleagues in company but they are also a bunch of good friends. Their relationship just like brothers and sisters.
